Dry Red Wines
Bottled: June 2014
Blend: 75% Chambourcin, 16% Merlot & 9% Cabernet Sauvignon
Winemaker notes: A deep, rich nose of ripe dates, black cherry & mocha introduce a smooth mid-palate of blackberry, boysenberry & blueberries, evolved with subtle notes of figs and seasoned oak for a lingering finish. This bold, decadent wine really just requires a steak, grilled to perfection or baked lasagna layered in fresh mozzarella and parmesan. Seriously, just go with the steak crumbled with gorgonzola. Feeling up to a dare, try a glass with favorite your dark chocolate.
Enjoy now, but age-worthy through at least 2019.
