Together since 2002, The Greencards have toured with Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, and headlined concerts around the world. The Brick Album, their 5th studio release, has received critical acclaim for its Americana Sound. Time Magazine says, "Laid-back tunes that land in a sweet spot halfway between Americana and bluegrass." American Songwriter asserts, "The Greencards have elevated Americana with great vocals, great playing and songs that are strictly theirs." A four piece band spearheaded by Australian Carol Young and Kym Young will definitely generate some excitement in Floyd County this July. Opener: DangerMuffin . On Dangermuffin’s 2010 release Moonscapes, the Folly Beach, SC-based trio sang about home. Even they couldn’t have expected the extent of that paradox - the album grew the band into a traveling national act, with songs played on radio stations and slots at major festivals across the country. No longer easily dubbed an Americana or roots-rock band, the group’s sound encompasses ska, calypso, and even southern rock, often within the same song. Their new album, Olly Oxen Free shows just how far the band has come in five years and how at peace they are with their music. Saturday, August 10 - Black Dog Wine and Blues Music Festival  Headliner: JJ Grey & Mofro
 Opener: Rosco Bandana Singing with a passion and fervor directly influenced by the classic soul heroes, national recording blues artist, JJ Grey has written and recorded five albums of original songs steeped in the rhythm & blues, rock, and country soul of his native backwoods home outside Jacksonville, Florida. Grey comes from a long tradition of Southern storytellers and, in that spirit, he fills his songs with details that are at once vivid, personal and universal. Saturday, September 14 - Black Dog Music & BBQ Festival  Headliner: Donna The Buffalo
 Opener: Big Daddy Love A KCBS (Kansas City Barbecue Society) sanctioned competition with entertainment being offered by Big Daddy Love as the opener and Donna the Buffalo as the headliner. The competition will kick-off with the meat judging Friday morning, then follow with events during the evening and the final cook-off Saturday morning and judging at noon.
