Visit Chateau Morrisette's newest venture in downtown Floyd!
Château Morrisette Winery joins Villa Appalaccia Winery,West Wind Farm Winery, Foggy Ridge Cider and Black Snake Meadery in a unique new business venture in Floyd, VA, called The Tasting Room.
“We have worked together to create an environment where customers can sample an array of delicious wines, cider and mead made here in southwest Virginia and confer with knowledgeable people about the products,” says Diane Flynt, Cidermaker at Foggy Ridge Cider.
Visitors to The Tasting Room are offered a sample tasting from a rotation of 6 wines, 2 ciders and 2 meads for $5. Customers can also enjoy and purchase beverages by the glass and purchase bottles of any products to take home.
The Tasting Room is located in The Station, a renovated building across from the Country Store in downtown Floyd, VA. Woody Crenshaw, developer of The Station, says “Floyd is already a center for heritage music and artisan crafts. We expect The Tasting Room to spread the word about the talented wine, cider and mead makers in our area.”
Every Friday through October is Meet the Winemaker Night. “From 6 to 8 p.m. every Friday, customers can meet the wine, cider or mead maker and learn more about the craft and art of making wine, cider and mead,” says Nora Kuper, VP of Marketing for Château Morrisette.

Fridays from 4 to 8 pm
Saturdays from 1 to 5 pm
